Hi everybody. Sorry to those who received a blank email last week.... I guess I wasted time and money on that one! Oh, well. Go figure.
This one will be short, but I just wanted to let you all know that I am now an OFFICIAL PEACE CORPS VOLUNTEER and that I swore to uphold the constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. So those of you that wanted me to plant bombs, just forget about it.
We've just spent five days at a ridiculously amazing beach, relaxing before going away to our sites by ourselves for three months. A little scary, after we've been together for so long. so, this is the last email for a while.
Ummmm..... I'm finally healthy (although a bit sunburned), and really excited about getting settled.
MOM and DAD, I'll be at the Daloa regional house tomorrow nite, Thursday 19 April, so feel free to give a call if you get the chance. I don't have the number on me, or I'd offer it to all of you!
Jennifer Charles, your babies are beautiful. Be strong. Kmart, Melissa, Kim, Lesa, Mika... I know there are some others too who have written.... thank you all so much, it is nice just to hear what you're up to, even if it isn't thrilling!
I gotta run - things to do, the last nite in the big city! Take care all of you, and I will be sending out hoards of letters very soon.
